Companies today spend huge amounts of money to certify their forklift operators and also to re-evaluate them at least every three years. The problem is that safe forklift operators are only 50% of the equation. Very few companies spend any time or money educating the other part of equation, pedestrians. Pedestrians account for a large number of forklift accidents every year in the U.S. and many of them are very serious. There are approximately 96,000 forklift injuries and 85 deaths per year each year in the U.S.

This one hour program is designed to "wake up" your pedestrians to the dangers of working around forklifts. Even those who have worked around forklifts for decades will gain a new appreciation for their potential danger and get updated information on how to safety interact with them.
